Chapter 2

Chapter 3: The Warehouse on Pier 19
That night, rain hammered the harbor as Elias arrived at the abandoned warehouse. Madison, unable to stop thinking about what happened at the showroom, had secretly followed him. The building stood alone at the end of Pier 19, surrounded by darkness and crashing waves. Elias pushed open the rusted door. Inside, only a single light bulb illuminated the vast space. Then a voice emerged from the shadows. “You took your time.” Elias froze. The man stepping forward looked older, thinner, and covered in scars. But there was no mistaking his face. Michael Reyes was alive. For several seconds, neither brother moved. Fifteen years of grief, anger, and unanswered questions filled the silence. “How?” Elias finally whispered. Michael gave a bitter smile. “The fire was real.” His gaze darkened. “But the people behind it made sure everyone believed I died.” Madison listened from her hiding place, unable to believe what she was hearing. Then Michael revealed something even worse. “The fire wasn’t an accident.” Elias felt his stomach drop. “What are you saying?” Michael handed him a flash drive. “Everything is on there.” His voice lowered. “Including the names of the people who ordered it.” Before Elias could ask another question, headlights suddenly flooded the warehouse through the broken windows.
